So here it is...
I'm doing it again. The hope is...I'm a tad wiser...and a bit more humble...and a lot better. This time I don't want to publish a book. I want to publish a best-seller. A fucking GREAT best-seller.
So what's worst that can happen? Failure is usually at the top of the list, but I've already done that. Few have read my early stuff and there is no income to pay the bills. By day I've got a gig, teacher (which for the most part I quite like). I certainly prefer to work with children versus adults, and the time off provides me the time to pursue this crazy dream of mine, which leads me to the other side of the coin (and my favorite part).
What's the best thing that can happen? I become a better writer and actually pull off this best-selling novelist endeavor. Allow me to introduce myself...I'm Aspen Hite, aspiring author. I have two current books under serious construction, and a few others simmering on the back burners, waiting for time...my most precious and constantly fleeting commodity. I look forward to sharing more in the near future.
